• The Relation Between Christianity And Star Wars

  This may sound like a funny post, but me being a Star Wars fan and all, i know that there is many things in common between these two. This is one of the latest ones i've discovered. In the 5th episode of Star Wars, Luke Skywalker finds out that Darth Vader is his father. Now when he herd this he didn't believe it yet, in fact, he didn't fully believe that he was his father until the next episode. Now imagine a person who's never herd of Christ of even God, being Luke, and imagine Darth Vader has Christ. now if He told him that he was his father do you think he would just except it? Do you think he would just be like "oh, so your my father, i'm cool with that."? And even if a person knows its true doesn't mean he wants to bring God into his life. if they now about God but do not except the fact that Christ Died to pay or sins, and thinks he can go to heaven with just good doings? or the other way around?

   

  ¹⁸ But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. ¹⁹ You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! ²⁰ But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? ²¹ Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? ²² Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? ²³ And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”And he was called the friend of God. ²⁴ You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
  ²⁵ Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way?
  ²⁶ For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

  so there was many ways i could have brought this conversation up, i just thought this one was the most fun, being a Star Wars fan and all.
